Merdeka?

Ada yang komen complexion anak kami gelap.
Tak cerah.
Tak macam anak mat salleh.

Tak cerah maka tak comel ke?
Tak mulia akhlaq?
Tak bijak?
Tak bersih hati & nafs?

We will teach our son and insyaAllah his future sibling(s) to be proud of his Indian lineage.
And his Chinese lineage.
And his Malay lineage.

Ingatkan zaman ni orang dah merdeka from such shallow thoughts/way of thinking.
I suppose we're a young country and still have a long way to do.
And a lot to learn.
