The First Step is done

Before the Pre-marriage course that Matt and I went to last weekend, we thought we knew what to do/the steps to take to get married. We were so wrong.

The amount of paperwork that goes into getting married is, shall I say, ridiculous. Headache la. First the bridegroom has to attain an approval letter (which allows one to get married, without it getting married is impossible). After attaining the approval letter, only then can the bride start her process of attaining her approval letter. All must be done within a month or three months, depending on which state you live in or which address is stated in your ID. Havoc!

Didn't get the opportunity to take alot of pictures because both of us were really using all of our energies to stay awake. We had to listen to talks that took up 2-3 hours straight. Thank goodness we're from the University. Stuff like ILTRA/LeadTrain and Taaruf Week really prepared us for events like these. :)

Day One at the course and the next is the second day at the course. Took pictures as something to pass the time during intervals.
Alhamdulillah, this first step is done. InsyaAllah this week, we both can start going to the Pejabat Agam to pick up our forms and the names of the Imam Jurunikah that will wed us. I am euphoric.
So excited,
Anis
